ART DISPAY of PAINTINGS BY CHILDREN WITH EPENDYMOMA AT ST PETER'S CHURCH 2015.
Many thanks to all who came to our Art Display of paintings by children fighting ependymoma 10th August -15th August. The event was a great success attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Harrogate. Paintings were submitted by children not only from the UK but from America as well. The Mayor and Mayoress learned about childhood ependymoma brain cancer and the desperate need for more funding . They were greatly moved by the astounding courage of the children fighting this despicable cancer. The paintings were donated to raise awareness and to show that these are real children from real families fighting a real disease. The talent displayed was truly amazing and done in such adverse conditions. Two of the children who submitted paintings for this project have since died . It was an incredibly moving event and one we will be repeating this year at the same venue from 25th July- 30th July 2016 If any family or child with ependymoma would like to submit a painting or poem please contact Sara Wilson at This email address is being protected from spambots.
